Over the years, I’ve visited a number of love hotels across Japan- for their architecture, lighting, atmosphere, and quiet strangeness.

To sleep in shapes. To bathe within curved tiles, mirrors, and platforms that subtly choreograph the body at rest.

I dream differently in places like this.
